The Cakorinas Story

Founded in 2007, CAKORINAS is one of the most professional and respected art education and training organizations in Egypt. Since its establishment, Cakorinas has been dedicated to nurturing artistic talent and spreading the culture of art across diverse communities.

In 2012, Cakorinas entered a strategic collaboration with Kythara Institute, marking a significant milestone in its journey. Together, they expanded their mission to promote art education throughout Egypt and internationally, reaching broader audiences and cultural communities.

Cakorinas believes that art is a powerful tool for wellbeing, self-expression, and human connection. Through our programs, we strive to widen access to all forms of art while maintaining strong roots in Ballet, Dance, Visual Arts, Music, and Folklore.

Our outreach initiatives welcome students from the age of 4 with no age limit, including:

• School pupils across Egypt
• Children with special educational needs and disabilities
• Adult and senior artists who wish to remain active and creatively engaged

Through our growing network of branches, we open our doors to art lovers of all ages—creating a welcoming home for learning, creativity, and community connection.

Cakorinas empowers individuals through art education and artistic enjoyment. We firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, practice, and grow as an artist. The organization has extensive experience in teaching Ballet and Dance to students with special needs, and proudly represents Egypt in numerous local and international festivals.

We provide a strong technical foundation for developing dancers and advocate the study of Classical Ballet as a cornerstone for poise, alignment, and technique.
